Web Development 

Cal Maritime embraces web-based technologies to deliver online services to both external audiences as well as the campus community.  Naturally, the University's web presence continues to evolve.  In February, 2011, it become hosted in CampusEAI Consortium's cloud services.  The entire public-facing website is now delivered by the portal itself and the portal's content mangement system is used to build and maintain the site.

Requirements

As a university, Cal Maritime is required to publish a significant amount of information as a public institution.  Some guidance is referenced below:

Web Publishing Assistance

The IT Department offers workshops and training on the Content Management System for the publication of Web pages and/or the use of the portal.
