There’s a buzz of excitement at California State University Maritime Academy (Cal Maritime)! The CSU Board of Trustees made a groundbreaking decision to integrate Cal Maritime with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. This bold and innovative move will strengthen our ability to serve students while preserving the legacy of one of the nation’s premier maritime academies.
While our name changes next year, the essence of what makes Cal Maritime extraordinary remains unchanged. We are committed to shaping the leaders of tomorrow through a holistic approach that includes student life, athletics, and leadership development. At Cal Maritime, we believe that these areas are not just extracurricular activities, they are essential to preparing our students for success.
Through programs like Athletics, the Outdoor Recreation Program and the Edwards Leadership Program, our students are learning valuable leadership skills. They are discovering what it means to lead by example, face challenges head-on, and work as a team to achieve shared goals. These experiences build the foundation for future leaders, both on and off the field.
If you prefer to send a check, your gift will be counted on the date of the postmark. Please make checks payable to "The California Maritime Academy Foundation," write the department, program or fund you wish to donate to on the memo line and send the check to:
