ABOUT US
| Career Services helps students position themselves for thriving careers, aids industries
in recruiting top talent, and connects the world to future leaders through facilitating
curricular and co-curricular career development programs, coordinating on-campus employer
recruitment events, creating internship and experiential learning opportunities, and
developing external and campuswide partnerships. |
| We coordinate on-campus and virtual career fairs, employer info sessions, and interviewing
with private sector companies, government agencies, and nonprofits providing jobs
for graduating students and alumni, providing sea training billets for cadets, and
offering internships for students. |
| We provide individual counseling and workshops on such career development topics as:
career exploration and career readiness, resume development, internship and job search
strategy, interviewing, career fair preparation, and networking. |
| We manage CareerHUB, Cal Maritime’s online portal to job and internship applications,
event sign-up, company research, recruitment opportunities, articles, networking,
and alumni connections. |
