Employer-Paid Life, AD&D & Disability Insurance

The Standard provides CSU employer-paid life, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, and long-term disability to benefits-eligible employee groups per their Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The Standard also offers voluntary plans to eligible employees as an added way of protecting your income.

Basic Life Insurance and AD&D

• This benefit is provided to eligible employees at no cost.
• Eligible employees are automatically enrolled. Coverage begins the first day of the calendar month following the date of hire..

• After 180 days of disability for a covered injury or illness, the plan pays 66 2/3% of your monthly salary (up to a max benefit of $10,000 per month).
