To prepare for your presentation, follow these steps: 

  1. Open Zoom.

    1. Click the camera icon in the bottom-left corner of the Zoom window.
    2. Camera may not function if not in HD quality setting. 
    3. Ensure the selected camera is the PTZ camera (AVER 333V2.
  1. Confirm the speaker is set to the echo-canceling speaker 
  2. Begin your presentation. 

Hand Gestures 

Using Auto-Tracking and Switching Users 

  1. Enable Auto-Tracking: 

 tracking on

    1. With your right hand, hold your open palm next to your face, facing the camera, as if waving hello.
    2. Maintain this gesture for 3 seconds.
    3. The PTZ camera will begin auto-tracking the person who made the gesture.


  1. Disable Auto-Tracking: 

 tracking off

    1. Similar to enabling auto-tracking, but instead, make a fist with your right hand and hold it next to your face.
    2. Hold the gesture for 3 seconds to stop auto-tracking. 

Adjusting Camera View 

  1. Switch Between Upper and Full Body Views: 
    1. To adjust the view, hold up four fingers next to your face with your fingers spread apart.
    2. The camera will:
      1. Zoom out to show your full body.
      2. Zoom in to display your waist and up.

  2. Zoom In/Out:

    1. Start with your palm facing the camera at shoulder height.
    2. Make a V shape by extending your index and middle fingers while making a fist.
    3. Align the top of your fingers with the base of your neck.
      1. Move your hand up to zoom in.
      2. Move your hand down to zoom out. 

Pan and Tilt the Camera 

 pan

  1. Begin with your palm facing the camera at shoulder height.
  2. Spread your fingers wide, keeping all five fingers open.
  3. Move your hand in the direction you want the camera to pan or tilt.
  4. Make a fist to stop the camera movement.
