Office of Cadet Leadership and Development

This academic year brings exciting transitions, including the rebranding of the Commandant’s Office to the Office of Cadet Leadership & Development (CLD). Our team comprises the Director of CLD, an Assistant Director, an Administrative Coordinator and Cadet Leaders. We remain dedicated to supporting every element of a cadet’s experience through providing a vital framework for developing leadership skills and professional training essential for a safe experience for cadets both on campus and on the training ship.

Beyond the Corps of Cadets, we are committed to engaging all students with a holistic approach to leadership development through the Edwards Leadership Development Program (ELDP). We aim to ensure that ELDP is at the forefront of every student’s experience to offer valuable growth opportunities both inside and outside the classroom to all cadets and students alike.
