SandDollar FAQ
SandDollar is a new service that allows you to add a pre-paid amount to a separate
account on a cadet’s One-Card (similar to a gift card, pre-paid phone card, or pre-paid
credit card). SandDollars can be used to make purchases at campus shops or at campus-related
services, such as Grubhub.
A cadet’s One-Card is also used for Flex Value/Declining Balance, which is used for
housing and meal services. SandDollar is administered independently of Flex/Declining
Balance.
Flex Value and SandDollar accounts are both stored on a cadet’s One-Card, and they
are both pre-paid Stored Value accounts.
But while Flex Value can only be used within the Housing Program, Sand Dollars can
be used for services such as Dining Locations, Keelhauler Shops, Keelhauler Outlet,
printing, and all external locations of services of the campus.
