Supplemental Instruction 

 

Here at Cal Maritime we offer a modified form of Supplemental Instruction. This is a program that was created by University of Missouri-Kansas City to promote academic success in targeted classes. The program here at CSUM consists of SI peer leaders who serve a specific course. These SIs are part of the tutoring staff and have taken the course in question. They lead study sessions and guide students through not only what they are learning, but how they are learning. 

*IMPORTANT TIME CHANGES!: 

  • MTH 100/101 SI will meet on Wednesday 11/12 from 5-7pm in Nav 102. Thursday 11/13 is cancelled (go Wednesday for exam prep!). 
  • PHY 100 SI will meet on Wednesday 11/12 instead of Thursday 11/13 this week for test prep. 
  • MTH 210 SI will not meet on Wednesday, 11/27. due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
  • PHY 100 SI will not meet on Thursday, 11/28, due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
