Clubs
What's Your Passion?
Dive in and join a group, or take the lead and create a new one. You will make friends and have fun, all with the support of Cal Maritime & the Associated Students.
The Clubs at Cal Maritime fall under the guidance of the Associated Students of the California State University Maritime Academy (ASCMA). The clubs under ASCMA are student initiated and run by current students. Involvement outside the classroom provides opportunities to develop valuable leadership skills, explore areas of interest and passion, enhance social and professional connections, and provide students a fun and active experiences while attending at Cal Maritime! Students learn effective communication skills, have cross cultural experiences, learn to work with others, a great start to building their resume and make lifetime friendships!
There are a variety of student clubs, within ASCMA, including those that focus on academics, career connections, culture/diversity, social in nature, and special interests. Clubs change periodically with the changing interests of the student body. If there is not a club that suits your needs, you can start a new one!
Contact the Director of Student Affairs to learn how to join campus clubs and organizations.
