Departure day has finally arrived!

All of us aboard TSGB are excited and ready to get this show on the road, and get underway for the next 65 days for the truly epic adventure that lies ahead. We will anchor in the SF Bay for the evening while we bunker, and hopefully get to enjoy some city lights before passing under the Golden Gate Bridge tomorrow morning.

Cadets looked sharp as they manned the rails while we pulled off of the dock in Vallejo this afternoon. This is a tradition that takes place each time we depart from our home port, and arrive at each new port on our voyage.
