Cruise 2023, Day 19 - Nine days into our voyage to Samoa, and a drizzly Saturday aboard the TSGB.

Cadets have been busy with deck and engine operations, working on their seabags, standing watch, and attending classes. We are inching further and further to Samoa with each passing day! We are cruising just slow enough that cadets have been able to catch some big (and tasty fish) off of the fantail. The fantail continues to be a popular hangout for the warm evenings, and there are a few musicians aboard so there is often music playing to accompany the beautiful sunsets. It rained a bit yesterday, and this morning has been drizzly which is a welcome change in weather.
