Happy Father’s Day from the Training Ship Golden Bear!
Some of the cadets made cards for their dads back home this past week and wanted to say Happy Father’s Day. A lot of cadets took the chance to call their fathers and talk with them. Today the weather was beautiful and the waters were nice and calm. The swim call went very well and morale is the highest it has been since we arrived in Hawaii a few days ago. We all look forward to being in Honolulu soon, though first we need to get through underway training. The UWT days will be challenging for all on board, but we will all learn from it.
I want to take a moment to say "Happy Father’s Day" to my dad back home, who has been following the journey the entire time.
