About Funding Opportunities

The Research & Innovation Office (RIO) provides support to Cal Maritime students, faculty, staff, and administrators in their endeavours to find funding opportunities both on and off campus to support their research, scholarship, creative activities, or institutional needs. We can assist with identifying sponsors, proposal development, understanding campus and sponsor guidlines, and routing proposals through the campus edorsement process for institutional approval prior to submission. Please note that if you are interested in funding in the form of a gift to Cal Maritime, you will need to work with the Advancement office.
