On Day 3, we spent our day in Casablanca.  Our first stop of the day was to the Port of Casablanca. We spent the morning learning more about the logistics of the port with a presentation and a Q&A session with key members of the port staff. Then, we ended our visit with a facility tour to check out some of the daily activities happening on site.

Our last stop of the day was a tour of the Hassan II Mosque, the 2nd largest mosque in Africa! We learned about the legacy of King Mohammed V, the design & construction of the mosque, and teachings of Islamic faith. One highlight learned is that it took only 6 years to build this grand mosque (from start to finish) and Hassan II Mosque can accommodate up to 100,000+ worshippers for prayer!
