Faculty Development Associate

We know how hard you are working, through these challenging times, to consistently provide our students with a quality education. Rest assured, we appreciate your hard work. In light of the current situation, we selected two of your colleagues to be your go-to for Peer Support, Ariel Setniker and Sam Pearson, to provide assistance, as needed, with the following:

• Provide one workshop per semester, in collaboration with the Director of Faculty, related to online pedagogy, instructional design, video creation, or instructional technology.
• Provide faculty support on use of the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) for teaching.
• Provide individual peer review and constructive feedback for improvement of online course design, following the Quality Assurance QLT instrument.
• Offer “drop in” office hours to assist faculty with online pedagogy, instructional design, and instructional technology.
• Guide faculty with content delivery best practices: online assessments; online classroom management; video creation; instructional design.
