Housing and Dining options for the preparation of the MARAD Cruise 2022

The Cal Maritime Corporation will be offering overnight accommodations and meals for cadets who wish to remain on campus and participate in the MARAD-operated cruise. This is a NON-Mandatory program.

If you are interested in participating in this overnight accommodation program, please fill out the Housing Form and submit payment by July 6th on the Transact Payments page.

Yes, Maritime North parking will be available.

  • MARAD Cruise parking permits are not available for online purchase. You must visit the Cashier’s Office. 
  • MARAD Cruise 2022: Auto permits are available for $36 and valid from May 2-July 10, 2022. Motorcycle permits are available for the entire Summer Term at $20.
  • Authorized Parking Lots: MARAD Cruise parking for autos is limited to Maritime North Motorcycle parking at designated motorcycle spaces on campus, only.
  • Vehicle Cover: If you opt to use a vehicle/motorcycle cover during MARAD Cruise, please visit the UPD to complete an application and obtain approval.
  • General Summer Term Parking Permit: Auto permits are available for $18/month and parking is available at all student parking lots (permit fees are not pro-rated for partial months). 
  • Motorcycle: Permits valid from May 11-August 31 for $20. Motorcycles must park in designated motorcycle spaces only [Lot-B (across from Administration Bldg), Lot-D (waterfront) and Lot-I (overlook)].
  • Permit Applications: Available at the Cashier’s Office. Be prepared with your vehicle information: license plate number, state, emergency contact number, and an emergency contact person in case of emergencies (preferably someone local who has a key for the vehicle). 

Yes, they will be credited at 1.5:1; same applies for the underway days and port call visits. 

Dinner will be available starting July 7 and through July 12 lunch service.
