KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its 2022 Daktronics Men's Soccer Scholar-Athletes and Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes when the organization unveiled both lists on Monday.

When unveiled, a total of five Cal Maritime soccer cadet-athletes earned academic distinction. Representing women's soccer was sophomore Kate Dabrow; honorees from the men's soccer program include juniors Jasen Nicolas, Nathan Witte, sophomores Josh Kuiper and Kai Saunders.

The 2022 men's soccer honor roll recognized players from 170 institutions; student-athletes from 173 universities comprised this season's women's soccer award recipients.

To earn a nomination from an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and attend at least one full year at said institution.
