Academy's 2019 Maritime Film Festival will once again feature an eclectic selection
of free movies beginning March.
March 13 – Pacific Rim
The 2013 sci-fi blockbuster directed by Guillermo del Toro.
March 20 – Godzilla
The original Japanese classic that spawned a franchise and defined a genre.
March 27 – Whale Rider
Award-winning 2002 drama features the story of a Māori girl whose ambition is to
become the chief of her tribe.
April 3 – Radio Bikini
Oscar-nominated 1988 documentary that examines the nuclear tests performed around
Bikini Atoll in 1946.
All movies will be introduced by faculty experts and shown at 7 p.m. in Rizza Auditorium
