When will campus return to normal function?

 

Classes, campus activities, and regular business will resume on Tuesday, October 17. 

Why is the campus closed?

Fires in the region negatively affected air quality in Vallejo, but air quality has improved and is projected to continue improving through the weekend.

What about watchstanding?

Shipboard watchstanding continues as scheduled.

What services are available?

Police, the Dining Center, IT, and Facilities activities continue to be available. 

Can I move back in to the residence halls or the ship?

Yes. The residence halls and ship are open for cadets who left campus to move back in at their convenience. Please check in with your RHO after moving back onto campus.

Will we have classes later into the semester because of the classes that were cancelled?
 
Cal Maritime administration will develop a plan to ensure that all classes comply with the requisite number of hours. If this requires some make-up sessions, we will notify campus with the plan as soon as possible after we return to normal operations.
 
What if I had a test or an assignment due when classes were cancelled?
 
For individual class assignments, contact your appropriate professor.
 
Is counseling available for students?
 
Yes. Please visit Student Health Services or call 707-654-1170 during regular office hours.
 
Are the Dining Center and other eating areas open?
 
The Dining Center is open for normal hours.
 
Is there a website to register yourself "Safe and Well?"
