Fall 2016 Registration Begins April 4, 2016 – April 13, 2016
Enrollment Appointments will be assigned no later than COB on March 25, 2016 and will be visible on your Student Center in PeopleSoft.
Students are required to meet with their academic advisor prior to each registration period to address registration and/or degree completion requirements. Please visit with your Academic Advisor during the advisement period, March 21 through April 1, 2016.
Enrollment/registration appointments are generated based on overall units completed, reflecting a students' academic level. The undergraduate catalog states that students who have completed units as noted are classified as follows: freshman (0-29.5 units), sophomore (30-59.5 units), junior (60-89.5 units), and senior/post baccalaureate (90+ units).
Enrollment appointments schedule:
Priority Registration (e.g., veterans, etc.): April 4
Senior: April 5
Junior: April 6
Sophomore: April 7
Freshman: April 8
"Class" requisites are temporary requisites built on "class of", major, sub-plans, or a students' divisional assignments. These special requisites are placed on courses to hold seats for a particular group of students. Class requisites are placed/removed from particular courses and/or course sections on a schedule determined by the Department Chairs.
Waivers of Pre-Requisit/Co-Requisit forms may be submitted to the Office of the Registrar on August 29, 2016 – first day of instruction. https://www.csum.edu/web/registrar/students
Students planning to participate in the Spring 2016 Commencement ceremony on April 23, 2016 must submit the online request using the following link "Commencement Participation". Students are eligible to participate in Commencement 2016 if their expected graduation date is April 2016, August 2016, or December 2016 and all academic requirements will be satisfied by the end of 2016. December 2016 graduates will include those sitting for USCG exams in January of 2017.
The deadline to apply to participate in Commencement is March 4, 2016. Students must apply to participate in Commencement by Friday March 4, 2016 AT 5:00PM in order to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. Those who do not meet this deadline will not be allowed to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. Students should see Dean Dalske or Director of University Affairs Brig Timpson

The mission of the Office of the Registrar is to support the University's Core Values and Mission by serving as the "office of academic records" for students, faculty, staff and the general public.
The Office is dedicated to providing efficient and knowledgeable services to our constituents which include registration, processing grades, enrollment and degree verifications, maintenance of the academic records, producing official CSUM academic transcripts, and veteran's services. We also oversee class scheduling and the academic calendar.
In preserving the student's right to privacy and upholding the integrity of academic policies, we work collaboratively with the university community to support teaching, learning, and institutional research.
