Counseling Offers

Get the most out of counseling

If you feel uneasy about talking with our psychologist, let us know. This can help build ease and honesty between you and Student Health Services.

Keep in mind that your progress depends on your sincere commitment to the counseling process.

To enhance your counseling experience

  • Attend all of your appointments or let Dr. Wallace or SHS know if you have to miss one.
  • Between appointments, be mindful of the issues you are working on.
  • Write down feelings, thoughts and insights about to your issues and share them with Dr. Wallace.
  • Complete homework assignments, if given.
  • Be open to new ways of thinking and approaching challenges.
  • Give feedback.

Relationship Counseling for Two

We offer counseling for two to address your relationship concerns in a confidential and safe setting.

Who May Attend

As long as one of you is a current student, you and your roommate, friend, partner, spouse, or significant other may meet with our psychologist.
