Commercial Cruise (Sea-Going Internships) Opportunities

All students in the Marine Transportation degree earn a Bachelor of Science Degree as well as a US Coast Guard 3rd Mate Unlimited License.  MT students are required to do at a sixty day commercial cruise. Commercial Cruise is completed your sophomore summer after successfully passing the first training ship cruise.  For Commercial Cruise you will sail aboard an actual working Merchant Marine Vessel.  This is your opportunity to get hands on training while experiencing the career path you will be going into.  We’ve got lots of exciting opportunities for you, around the world, on all type of vessel platforms and engine types. Career Opportunities
