“The Road to Diversity in Higher Education: Are We There Yet?”

The Cal Maritime Unity Council would like to thank all that attended the Black History Finale, which was a roundtable discussion on, The Road to Diversity in Higher Education: Are We There Yet? Our esteemed panelists and guests brought some thought-provoking concepts of teaching & learning to the forefront for our consideration.

The discussion pushed beyond the classroom into the living community of which we are a part and encouraged embracing our differences and growing stronger as a campus.

It was evident that we have many supporters on campus, within the higher education and our local communities who will partner with us in fostering an environment of passion for education and personal growth.

The Unity Council will make every effort to coordinate such events in the future!
