 Echo360

Echo 360 is an Automated Lecture Capture system that records lectures based on pre-set course schedules and allows instructors to manually trigger
captures with one click. The result is rich media and mobile outputs for
student viewing. Currently our echo capture system is configured in ABS 102 and ABS 101. To get started, please contact Randy Thomas, rthomas@csum.edu

Echo360 also allows instructors with a webcam or microphone to record themselves and their desktop or laptop screen or just their voice. Through the Personal Capture software, the recording or screencast is automatically saved on the Echo360 server and a URL is generated which can be cut and pasted in Moodle or on a website. Clickers

Cal Maritime uses  Turning Technologies' Turning Point Student response systems (clickers).

TurningPoint – interactive PowerPoint - is a software add-on to Microsoft® PowerPoint that enables educators, trainers and presenters to develop and administer real-time assessments of participants within their PowerPoint presentations.

SchoolVue Remote Desktop Management Tool

CrossTec SchoolVue classroom management software gives instructors the ability to instruct, monitor and interact with students individually, as a pre-defined group or as an overall classroom. The tool can also be used to restrict web access as well as lock student screen entirely

SchoolVue is currently installed in the Classroom 105 and Lab 101

SMART Boards

SMART Board interactive Whiteboards allow instructors to use the projector screen as a Giant Whiteboard and interactive touch screen. SMART Boards are currently installed in ABS 1, ABS 2 and the President's Large Conference Room.
