We hope you can take advantage of one of the opportunities to learn about the California Maritime Academy and tour our training ship. The 500' long GOLDEN BEAR will voyage from our home in Vallejo to San Francisco, CA, Honolulu, HI, Lahaina, HI, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR before returning to Vallejo. Nearly 325 Cal Maritime students are running the ship while overseen by licensed deck officers and licensed engineers. They also take courses while underway, perform ship maintenance at sea and in port, and have liberty (free-time) in each port.
