Outreach and Consultation
Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) is committed to reaching out to CMA students, student organizations, faculty, staff and departments by providing outreach, educational presentations, and consultation about our services to address the mental health and academic needs of our students.
Each semester, CAPS offers educational presentation on academic, mental health, interpersonal, and wellness topics.
Students, student organizations, faculty, staff, and members of the CMA community, may request a presentation:

We can collaborate with you to develop a presentation that fits your needs. Our presentations can be as short as 15 minutes or involve a series of multiple topics.

We are available as consultants to assist you in your role as professor, administrator, advisor, counselor and/or leader of students. Consultation involves a collegial relationship in which the consultant(s) deal exclusively with your work-related or student issues. Services are available to any academic department or administrative unit, as well as any staff, and individual faculty members.
We offer different types of consultations for the CMA community:

- Critical Incident Consultations
- Consultation for Specific Student/Departmental Needs
- Consultations on Dispute Resolution
