(Vallejo, California – May 5, 2020) – Today we celebrated the ribbon cutting and official opening of Faculty Drive that provides direct access from Maritime Academy Drive to McAlister Hall, Bodner field, Felton Alumni House and other residences. The new improved roadway incorporates a pedestrian sidewalk, retaining wall and LED lighting to ensure both auto and pedestrian safety. This key campus infrastructure project was financed by a grant from the CSU Systemwide office.

Established in 1929, California State University Maritime Academy is the only degree-granting
maritime academy on the West Coast. Located in Vallejo, California, the campus offers
undergraduate degrees that prepare students for careers in engineering, transportation,
